Æthelred Ultra is a new gravel ultracycling event around the historic kingdom of Wessex. The 600km loop starts near Sailisbury and takes in the best of Dorset, Wiltshire and the new Foresr. Following a figure of 8 shaped loop with tyhe race HQ at the nexus allows riders to rest and resupply between each loop and even change thier bibshorts. This also allows riders to ride either one of the two loops as an intro to an ultra.
The format makes this ride Ideal as a first ultra or an early season prep race for races further afield.
